I am a ceramic artist working primarily with functional forms such as vases, bowls, and mugs made for daily use. I am drawn to bright, playful, illustrative surfaces featuring motifs from the natural world, such as fish and flowers. These images reflect my interest in movement, life, and God’s provision. Through functional objects, I create work meant to be used, handled, and woven into everyday life.

Alongside this functional practice, I create sculptural work that explores the emotional terrain of being alive, particularly grief and healing. Continuing to draw from natural imagery, this work shifts toward storytelling through form and surface, using my material as a way to hold memory and experience. Grounded in ideas of family, legacy, and the impact people have on one another, my body of work reflects the way emotion and lived experience are carried with us over time.
